Privacy policy

Your moments stay yours.

Last updated: October 12, 2026

This policy explains how CamPilot handles information when you use the app. CamPilot is built so camera control and saved work can happen on your device.

What the app uses

When you ask CamPilot to create a routine

To turn an idea into a routine, the app sends the text of your request, a description of the available camera or sensor capabilities, and the rules needed to format a routine to a managed planning service. The app does not send camera images to that service. To improve CamPilot, the app also sends best-effort usage reports containing camera make, model and capability definitions, your planning prompt, and the planning result or failure. Unchanged camera definitions are not repeatedly sent. These reports do not include photos, camera serial numbers, or a persistent user identifier. Reports may be dropped when the device is offline or the service is unavailable.

Purchases

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are handled by Apple. CamPilot receives the information needed to unlock the purchased experience, but does not receive your Apple Account password or payment card number.

Sharing and deletion

CamPilot does not sell personal information. You choose when to export, share, or save a capture to Apple Photos. You can remove app-owned captures and saved routines from inside the app. Deleting the app removes the local data stored by the app, subject to ordinary device backups.

Children

CamPilot is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the app changes. The date above shows the latest version. Questions can be sent to support@campilot.candiapps.com.
